I don’t think we technically have any evidence that this ISN’T the case. “Neither may live while the other survives” could logically translate out to “Both will die if the other dies,” which is what happened. But perhaps the only part of Harry that died for real was the Horcrux, which is what allowed him to come back, potentially for good. Do we have any evidence that Harry is not, functionally, a wizarding Jack Harkness? The epilogue just says he has kids.
